Moroccan Star Hakim Ziyech Returns to Training with Galatasaray After Injury

The Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech has resumed training with Galatasaray, after several weeks of absence due to injury.

Ziyech had contracted an injury during the match against Lesotho (1-0) on September 9, which kept him off the pitch for several weeks. Now recovered, the Atlas Lion has been allowed to resume training with his club, Galatasaray. This is evidenced by the photos published by the Turkish club on its social networks.

Okan Buruk said he was happy to have the Moroccan striker back on the pitch. "Ziyech has a good personality, and he is also a good player, and he gets along well with his teammates. He had a good start to the preparations with the team, before suffering an injury with the national team. But now he’s back. He has resumed training and shows good aptitude and seems to be in good shape," said the Turkish technician.

Galatasaray is at the top of the Super Lig with 22 points. Ziyech and his teammates will face Antalyaspor on Saturday. The Moroccan international should be in the starting lineup for this match.

Due to his injury, the Atlas Lion was not called up for the double confrontation against the Central African Republic counting for the 3rd and 4th rounds of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Moroccan team corrected the Central African Republic 5-0 in the first leg, played on October 12 at the Oujda stadium. The men of Walid Regragui repeated the feat by beating the same team 4-0 last night.
