Moroccan Star Belhanda Sees Red for Slap in Turkish Super Lig Clash

Moroccan international Younès Belhanda lost his temper on Sunday during a Süper Lig match pitting his club Adana Demirspor, currently 4th in the Turkish championship, against the league leader Trabzonspor (1-4).
Overheated atmosphere on Sunday between Demirspor and Trabzonspor. While the game was stopped while a visiting player was on the ground, Younès Belhanda wanted to recover the ball from his opponents, but they preferred to keep it to waste time. This was not to the liking of the Moroccan player who pushed Bruno Peres before slapping him.
Initially booked with a yellow card, Belhanda ultimately received a red card after consulting the images. He was sent off in the 22nd minute of the game. Pending the fate that will be reserved for him, he does not regret having hit his opponent.
"I hope it gets worse. Fake soccer player Bruno Peres," he wrote in an Instagram story. Let’s hope this incident won’t precipitate his departure from the Turkish club as was the case with Galatasaray.
