Turkish Club Adana Demirspor Parts Ways with Moroccan Midfielder Younes Belhanda

Moroccan international Younes Belhanda will have to find a new club following Adana Demirspor’s decision to terminate his contract.
Adana Demirspor announced the end of the collaboration with player Younes Belhanda following a mutual decision to terminate the contract.
"Thank you for everything, Belhanda. We have mutually agreed to part ways with our professional footballer, Younes Belhanda.
We thank Younes Belhanda for his fight throughout our adventure in the Süper Lig and in Europe and wish him success in his future career," the club wrote on social media.
The future of the Moroccan midfielder seems uncertain, with rumors linking him to Trabzonspor as well as the Istanbul team, Pendikspor.
Belhanda’s history with Galatasaray, the club he joined in July 2017 from Dynamo Kiev, ended on a controversial note. The club confirmed the termination of his contract for still unclear reasons. However, it should be noted that Belhanda was often a frequent subject of debate among supporters and critics, often at the center of discussions for his performances and statements.
Just before the end of his contract, Belhanda had made comments on the club’s management after a match against Sivasspor, suggesting a certain distance to maintain with social media and public criticism. These statements exacerbated the tensions between the club and the player.
