Moroccan international Selim Amallah risks a lot for having criticized the refereeing during the match between Standard and Genk.
After being accused of racism at the end of 2021, Selim Amallah risks a suspension for remarks deemed inappropriate by some media. The Atlas Lion complained about the refereeing of the match between Standard and Genk. "The referees are incompetent," he said to Eleven Sports.
According to La Dernière Heure, the 25-year-old Moroccan player will be summoned by the Belgian Football Union’s public prosecutor’s office before the Disciplinary Council to provide explanations for his remarks made at half-time of the match in Genk on February 13, which ended in the defeat of the Liège club (2-0).
