Moroccan-Spanish Chef Najat Kaanache Wins ’Pioneer’ Award from ELLE Magazine
Another international recognition for the talents of Moroccan chef Najat Kaanache. The Spanish magazine ELLE has just awarded her the "Pioneer Chef" prize.
Chef Najat Kaanache is very well known in the world of gastronomy. She hosts a TV show dedicated to Moroccan cuisine on "Canal Cocina". Her award was presented to her during the "ELLE Gourmet Awards 2022" gala, held on Monday, in the presence of several Spanish personalities from the world of art, culture, media and politics. The organizers believe that "Najat Kaanache understands the fusion concept perfectly. She knows how to combine Moroccan and Spanish gastronomy, as can be tasted in Nur, her restaurant in Fez".
For the Prize jury, "there is only Najat Kaanache to win the Pioneer Chef award". Owner and chef of the NUR restaurant in Fez, Najat’s reputation goes beyond Moroccan and Spanish borders. She receives the most beautiful reviews from critics in Europe, the United States and Latin America. She does not hesitate to bring her touch when she is invited to collaborate with other internationally renowned chefs. Today, with all the experience and reputation she has acquired, she is promoting Moroccan gastronomy.
Najat Kaanache had studied theater and cinema in Madrid and London for two and a half years, but her passion for gastronomy took over and she decided to settle in the Netherlands to make it her profession. She started as a freelancer before later working in the most prestigious restaurants around the world.
