Moroccan Ex-Soldier Arrested for Attempted Murder After Stabbing Wife Who Refused Polygamy

A married woman, seriously injured in the neck and face by her husband, a former soldier, was taken in critical condition to the emergency room of the Hassan II Hospital in Agadir on Sunday, September 22 in the morning. The suspect is being prosecuted for attempted murder.
The incident took place in Inezgane, near Agadir. A former military man who intended to marry a second wife stabbed his wife because she refused to grant him permission.
According to Agadir24, this story took a very serious turn between the two spouses, when the retiree of the Royal Armed Forces seized a knife before inflicting several blows to his wife, who was rushed to the hospital in Agadir.
Prosecuted for attempted murder, the individual was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
