Elderly French Expat Dies of Heart Attack in Morocco, Investigation Underway

A French national succumbed to a heart attack while being transferred to the Hassan II Hospital in Agadir.
Living with his maid in an isolated house in Tiznit, he had chosen to end his life in Morocco after the death of his wife.
Transported to the hospital in critical condition, the victim, aged 80, suffered from several health problems that may have been the cause of his death, according to the testimonies of the neighbors.
An investigation has been opened by the police services under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending the results of the autopsy performed at the morgue of the Hassan II Hospital.
