Domestic Homicide Shocks Safi: Man Kills Wife in Front of Children, Flees Scene

The city of Safi was the scene of a horrible domestic homicide on the night of Sunday, October 20 to Monday, October 21. An individual slit his wife’s throat in front of his three children, before fleeing.

It was 1 a.m. when a dispute broke out between the two spouses. Furious, the man is said to have grabbed a knife before inflicting several knife wounds to her neck.

The aggressor then headed towards the door, his hands stained with blood, before fleeing to an unknown destination, leaving behind his three children and his wife in a pool of blood.

According to Maghreb24, the Judicial Police, accompanied by the Scientific and Technical Unit, went to the crime scene, and ordered an autopsy of the body, transferring it to the morgue of the city’s hospital, while a nationwide arrest warrant was issued against the husband.
