Moroccan Soccer Star Pledges House to Family of Rayan, Boy Who Died in Well Tragedy

Touched by the death of Rayan, the 5-year-old child who remained trapped in a 45 cm diameter well for 5 days after an accidental fall, Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah not only paid tribute to the deceased but also promised to offer a furnished house to his family.
Since Saturday, reactions have continued to pay tribute to Rayan, the 5-year-old boy who died after spending five days trapped in a 32-meter deep, narrow and difficult to access dry well, dug near the family residence in the village of Ighrane, in the province of Chefchaouen, in northern Morocco.
On Sunday, Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah presented, on his Instagram account, his condolences to the parents of the deceased. He also announced that he will offer a furnished house to Rayan’s family. The Ittihad Jeddah striker also called on artists, footballers and celebrities to provide him with their assistance.
Rayan Aourram’s funeral will take place this Monday, February 7, in his village.
