Moroccan Soccer Star Medhi Benatia Faces Backlash Over Shisha Smoking Video

Like several professional footballers, the Moroccan international, Medhi Benatia, appeared in a video smoking shisha, despite the warning of professional clubs, who see it as a danger to the health of players.
A video shared last Thursday on his Instagram account has sparked a wave of outrage and criticism from many fans of the central defender of the Qatari club Al Duhail, who did not fail to make him some remarks.
The controversy raised ultimately got the better of the former captain of the Atlas Lions who was forced to remove the video, without however apologizing to his large audience.
Transferred in 2018 from Juventus Turin to the Qatari club Al Duhail for 8 million euros, the 33-year-old central defender would not be against a return to the national team.
