Juventus Denied Benatia Loan as Al Duhail Rejects Offer

Announced to replace the injured Giorgio Chiellini at the knee, the Moroccan international, Medhi Benatia, will not be able to join the Juventus de Turin squad. The reason is that his club, Al Duhail, refuses the loan offer proposed to him.
Failure of negotiations. Medhi Benatia remains in Qatar. Juventus de Turin, which has shown a real interest in recruiting the Moroccan international, has run up against the categorical refusal of his club, Al Duhail.
Yet Benatia himself had given his approval, according to the Italian media. As a result, the Turin club will have to bet on another player, namely the German, Jerome Boateng, to replace Chiellini, their defender injured in the cruciate ligament of a knee, during a training session.
The Juventus de Turin coach had started Benatia for two and a half seasons between 2016 and 2019. He has already been pursuing his football career in Italy, with the Qatari club, Al Duhail, for eight months.
