Moroccan Defender Benatia Opts to Stay with Qatar’s Al Duhail, Ruling Out Juventus Return

Medhi Benatia will not return to Juventus in Turin. The Moroccan international prefers to stay with the Qatari club, "Al Duhail".
The adventure of the Moroccan international, Benatia, with the Old Lady is definitely over. In a statement to Goal, the captain of the national team does not envisage a return to the ranks of Juventus in Turin. He remains with the Qatari club, "Al Duhail", for the next season.
For the Juventus coach, Mauricio Sari, who confirms the information, this return of the Moroccan to the club is not on the agenda, reports the Italian daily Calcio Mercato. Deprived of playing time at Juve, following Bonucci’s return, Benatia signed at the end of January 2019 with the Qatari club "Al Duhail" for the trifle of 8 million euros, with more than 2 million in potential bonuses.
Even if some had suggested the call of money in this transfer to a supposedly weak championship, the Moroccan player simply said that Qatar allowed him to better practice his religion.
