Moroccan Singer Rym Fekri Sparks Controversy Over Post-Mourning Return to Spotlight

Moroccan singer Rym Fekri is facing numerous criticisms from her fans. The latter, in particular, reproach the widow for not respecting the mourning period.
Recently, Rym Fekri shared with her subscribers a photo shoot where she appears in a black dress described as provocative, then in another red dress. This provoked the anger of the public and her fans. They condemn the fact that the singer did not respect the mourning period and that she returned to the music scene less than three months after the death of her husband. Exasperated, she appeared in a new video where she explained that the public’s reproaches irritate her enormously. She also asked them not to comment on her weight loss anymore.
Rym Fekri’s husband had been kidnapped on February 8, near his home in Casablanca, by individuals who were aboard an off-road vehicle, before being murdered. His body was found in the bed of a river near Rabat. Subsequently, the Casablanca police arrested six individuals, including a French national of Moroccan origin, the main suspect. A settling of scores between the victim and the main suspect would be the origin of the assassination of his wife.
