Moroccan Singer Fatima Tihihit Declines Israel Concert Amid Gaza Conflict
The famous Amazigh singer Fatima Tihihit says she has refused an invitation to perform in Israel, notably because of the daily airstrikes on the Palestinian people.
During her appearance on the "Assahm" show on Chada TV, Tihihit revealed that she had received an invitation from an Amazigh-speaking Jew to perform a concert in Israel. But she chose to decline this offer, motivated by the current situation in Palestine. The remuneration was nevertheless, she says, very substantial.
Furthermore, the singer also discussed her position towards Algeria. She stated that she does not accept to perform in this country, in response to the political tensions between Algeria and Morocco
