Moroccan Singer Dounia Batma’s Father Arrested for DUI as Sisters Face Court

A new blow has just struck the Batma family, on the very day the two sisters, Dounia and Ibtissam, were to appear before the investigating judge of the court of first instance of Marrakech.
The elements of the Marrakech prefectural service proceeded to arrest the father of the Arab Idols star, Hamid Batma, while he was driving his car in a state of intoxication.
The man was apprehended on Monday, February 24 in the morning, in a state of drunkenness, before being placed in custody, pending his appearance the next day before the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Dounia Batma and her sister, Ibtissam, were to appear on Monday before the investigating judge, to answer the charges of blackmail and defamation in the Hamza mon bb case.
