While 14,000 workers were hired to go to Huelva for the 2020-2021 strawberry and berry campaign, only 12,725 people were authorized to leave. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a negative PCR test must be presented before the trip.
From December 30 to March 26, about 11,833 Moroccan seasonal workers, with their negative PCR tests, went to the province of Huelva, in southwestern Spain. 892 people are expected in the coming days.
