Approximately 421 trail runners representing 35 countries lined up at Birkat al Mouz Bayt Ar Rudaydah castle to take on the Himam trail run race 2021 last Friday, reports Muscat Daily. This year’s endurance competition included three events: 20 km, 35 km and 70 km. The starting gun was fired at 6:15 am. The runners climbed the mountains up to nearly 2,210 m in altitude.
At the finish line, Moroccan Rachid El Morabity won the 70 km event.
