Moroccan Real Estate Fraud Widens: New Suspects Named in ’Bab Darna’ Scandal

Several people have been further cited in the "Bab Darna" real estate fraud case.
The number of people involved continues to increase in this fraud case that has not yet revealed all its secrets. An engineer and several members of the family of the director of "Bab Darna Group" have been the subject of new complaints filed with the competent general prosecutor’s office in Casablanca, reports the daily Al Massae. According to the same source, the victims of this major real estate scam are demanding that justice be done.
The dispossessed also accuse the president of the municipality that was to host these fictitious housing units, as well as the head of the document legalization service who had countersigned the sales agreements.
The many victims of this case are now turning their gaze to the parliamentary groups who have promised them to appeal to the ministers of the departments concerned by this case so that the responsibilities of each stakeholder are determined.
