Moroccan Rapper El Grande Toto Released on Bail, Awaits Trial Amid Reconciliation Efforts

Placed in custody since last Monday, the Moroccan rapper El Grande Toto has been released pending his trial. A date will be set for his first court appearance.
According to statements by his lawyer, Me Abdelfettah Zehrach, the rapper was released after paying a bail of 20,000 dirhams.
For their part, the defense of the four composers who filed a complaint against the rapper, represented by Saloua Mjadli, indicated that her clients have decided to favorably respond to the reconciliation proposal made by the rapper’s lawyers. And to specify that the plaintiffs have accepted the withdrawal of the complaints in exchange for public apologies from El Grande Toto.
Furthermore, Me Mohammed El Hassani Karout, lawyer of journalist Mohamed Tijjini, who was the first to prosecute the singer for defamation and threats, confirmed the maintenance of the complaint.
