Moroccan Rapper El Grande Toto Faces Legal Action Over Alleged Threats and Misconduct

Journalist and TV presenter Mohamed Tijini has sued rapper El Grande Toto for defamation, insults, death threats and indecent assault.
According to Hespress, a complaint has been filed against the rapper in the Casablanca court, the journalist accusing the artist of having appeared in one of his evenings, in front of the public naked with a bottle of whiskey in hand. After vehemently denouncing this act, Toto allegedly threatened him with "revenge and to liquidate him" in Belgium where he resides.
These accusations should have a follow-up in the coming days, the same source points out, specifying that the complaint has been transmitted to the judicial police in order to investigate this case by summoning the parties concerned.
To recall, Tijjini had broadcast a television program from Brussels where he fired broadsides at the Minister of Culture Mehdi Bensaid and El Grande Toto, who is accused of having advocated for drugs at the Rabat festival. The Moroccan rapper has experienced a meteoric rise in recent years. He is the most listened to artist in the MENA region on Spotify, with over 135 million streams in 178 countries.
