Moroccan Rapper Arrested at Airport Amid Domestic Violence Allegations

Targeted by a complaint for domestic violence, a famous rapper was arrested at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca as he was about to leave Morocco.
He will not have left Morocco as he wished. At Mohammed V airport in Casablanca, the authorities discovered that the famous rapper is the subject of a warrant for domestic violence. His wife, an American with whom he married in 2012 in the United States, where he resided, had filed a complaint against him. He received several summons, some of which mention an intervention by the American embassy, without responding, reports the daily Al Akhbar. He was therefore arrested at the airport.
After his arrest and interrogation at the Tanger police station, he was brought before the prosecutor of the king near the court of first instance of the same city on December 17. The artist is being prosecuted in custody. He is a man known to the justice system. He has already been convicted of violence and has also served a prison sentence for insulting a police officer. The one who "had in the past acknowledged that he had almost died due to his addiction to hard drugs, including cocaine," has already been arrested in several countries including the United Arab Emirates, for drug possession.
