Moroccan Protesters Rally Against Israel Ties, Demand Support for Palestine

Demonstrations against the normalization of relations between Morocco and Israel continue. Dozens of pro-Palestine activists have again marched in several cities.
Moroccans - notably the Moroccan front against normalization - have once again demonstrated their support for Palestine. On Monday, many gathered on Sraghna Square in Casablanca. Keffiehs and Palestinian flags, they chanted "Palestine is a trust, normalization is a betrayal," before calling on Morocco to end its "shameful" ties with what they describe as the "apartheid state", reports The New Arab. Similar demonstrations took place in the cities of the kingdom on Tuesday, November 29, the international day of solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Under the slogan "to fight to dismantle the Zionist apartheid system", the Moroccan Front against Normalization also called on teachers and schools to organize parties and events on the Palestinian theme to counter "attempts targeting children to accept normalization". "Let’s work together so that the Palestinian cause remains present in the minds and hearts of [new] generations until victory," the movement wrote in a statement.
