A peace officer serving in the urban corps of the Provincial Security Directorate of Salé was provisionally suspended this Friday morning by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The agent will also be referred to the disciplinary council for the excesses and shortcomings committed during the exercise of his duties.
The DGSN’s decision was made in light of the results of the judicial investigation opened. The policeman is suspected of having committed criminal acts and serious professional misconduct, while he was on surveillance duty on the Salé beach. He is said to have consumed a psychotropic substance, the DGSN said in a statement.
