Moroccan Police Debunk Viral Video of Alleged Serial Killer Attack, Cite 2018 Incident

After doing meticulous work on the files (audio recordings), the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has provided a formal denial concerning a video widely circulated on WhatsApp. It claimed the assault of a woman with a knife by, it was said, a serial killer.
The results of the DGSN’s research and technical expertise refute the thesis that a woman was attacked with a knife by a serial killer.
It is rather a case of settling scores, dating back to 2018, indicates the DGSN in a press release published on Twitter.
It took place in the province of Sidi Bennour, a subdivision of the Casablanca-Settat region. The DGSN has thus just deconstructed a fake news.
