The network members had asked her for money to guarantee the physical safety of her daughter. This is how the authorities opened an investigation.

The complainant was involved. She accepted the blackmail of the cartel members to preserve the physical integrity of her daughter. While the network members were receiving the complainant’s money, they were arrested by the investigators. The authorities discovered that two of the suspects are involved in other illegal migration operations in exchange for various sums of money. They also exploited the beneficiaries of these operations in illegal activities. Their relatives have also been subjected to blackmail by the network members.
