Marrakech Airport Police Arrested in Illegal Immigration Document Scheme

Two police officers on duty at Marrakech Menara airport and another civil servant have just been arrested for their involvement in a case of illegal immigration.
According to the daily Al Akhbar, the three accused are accused of falsifying official documents and residence permits for the benefit of migrants. The two agents were the first to be arrested, before the investigation led the judicial police brigade to the trail of the civil servant.
After their arrest, the accused did not take long to admit the facts they are accused of, leading the police to the trail of several people involved in this case of illegal immigration. According to the newspaper, these would certainly be police officers or civil servants working at Marrakech Menara airport.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the woman working at the prefecture would be the mastermind of this network, which would be part of a larger one, active in illegal immigration. The use of airport video recordings allowed the investigators to understand that the latter had full access to all the airport compartments, even to places where she needed a duly signed authorization.
The investigation continues in an attempt to determine all the contours of this case, identify all the people involved and other ramifications.
