Moroccan Police Bust Car Theft Ring in Tangier, Arrest Two Suspects

Following information provided by the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, the prefectural judicial police service of Tangier successfully made an arrest, apprehending two individuals aged 26 and 34, involved in a criminal network specialized in car theft.
According to the statement from the General Directorate of National Security, the main suspect, the subject of six national arrest warrants, was arrested for his alleged involvement in the theft and resale of cars after modifying their exterior appearance. His accomplice was subsequently apprehended based on information provided by the first suspect.
The police search resulted in the seizure of a stolen car, as well as mobile phones and a significant amount of money, presumably from the car trafficking.
The two suspects have been taken into custody and made available to the investigation, which is being conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to determine any possible ramifications of the criminal network.
