Moroccan Police Arrest Serial Counterfeiter in Berrechid for Fake Currency Scheme

The National Brigade of the Judicial Police of Berrechid arrested on Wednesday morning an individual, for his alleged involvement in crimes of fraud, forgery, and circulation of banknotes.
Due to the many complaints filed against him, the 41-year-old man was the subject of several arrest warrants issued against him at the national level.
His victims were all misled during commercial transactions in which the suspect had taken to using fake 200 dirham bills.
The man was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, pending his appearance before the courts.
