Moroccan Police Accident: 4 Dead and 26 Injured Near Sidi Ifni
Four Moroccan police officers died Saturday in a road accident near Sidi Ifni. The tragedy, which occurred while they were traveling to Agadir for a security mission, also left twenty-six members of the law enforcement forces injured.
The vehicle, carrying 44 members of a mobile riot-control brigade, left the road early in the morning about 24 kilometers from Sidi Ifni. The officers were traveling to Agadir to provide security for a football match.

The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) confirmed that the accident had resulted, according to the initial assessment, in “four deaths and twenty-six injuries.” The survivors were immediately evacuated to hospitals to receive the necessary treatment.
Abdellatif Hammouchi, head of the DGSN, ordered the full mobilization of medical and social services to ensure hospitalization under the best possible conditions. He demanded rigorous monitoring of the health of every injured officer.

The institution stated that “all necessary forms of assistance and support will be provided to the victims’ families.” Instructions were issued to expedite administrative measures benefiting the officers affected by this tragic mission-related accident.
