Moroccan Passport Ranks 79th Globally, Allows Visa-Free Travel to 64 Countries

The Moroccan passport ranks 79th in the annual ranking of the world’s most powerful passports, maintaining its position as the second most powerful passport in the Maghreb.
According to this ranking by the British firm Henley & Partners, the Moroccan passport ranks 79th out of 199 countries, and thus offers Moroccans the possibility of traveling to 64 destinations without a visa. In the Maghreb, it ranks second behind the Tunisian passport (72nd worldwide with 71 destinations) and ahead of the Mauritanian passport (84th worldwide with 59 countries) and the Algerian passport (91st worldwide with 52 destinations).
The Japanese and Singaporean passports top the ranking and offer the possibility of traveling to 192 countries without a visa. It is followed by that of Germany (2nd worldwide with 190 destinations) and South Korea, Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, and Spain (3rd worldwide).
