Moroccan Passport Ranks 65th Globally, Grants Access to 77 Countries

The Moroccan passport ranks 65th worldwide out of 199 and 2nd in North Africa, according to the latest Henley & Partners ranking.
With this position, the Moroccan passport allows its holder to travel to 77 countries in the world, including 33 visa-free countries and 44 countries with a visa on arrival, while 121 countries require Moroccans to obtain a visa, the index specifies, based on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
In the sub-region, Morocco is ranked 2nd behind the Tunisian passport and ahead of the Mauritanian and Algerian passports.
Globally, the United Arab Emirates is at the top of the ranking according to The Henley Passport Index, followed by Germany, Sweden, Finland and Luxembourg.
