Morocco’s Passport Climbs 6 Spots in Global Power Ranking

The Moroccan passport has gained 6 points in the annual ranking of the most powerful passports in the world, thus improving its international ranking.
According to the recent ranking established by the British firm Henley & Partners, the Moroccan passport is ranked 63rd out of 91 in the world, thus offering the possibility for its holders to travel to 70 countries without a visa or with a visa on arrival (28 countries without a visa and 40 countries with a visa on arrival). A visa is required for 128 countries. This performance remains, however, below the general average of mobility, notes the firm.
Globally, the passport of the United Arab Emirates is at the top of the ranking with access to 168 countries without a visa or with a visa issued on arrival (115 countries without a visa and 53 countries with a visa on arrival). The visa is thus required for only 30 countries.
In second place are 10 countries, namely Germany, Sweden, Finland, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Luxembourg and South Korea.
In 3rd place worldwide are 8 countries: Denmark, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan, Poland, Ireland and the United States with a mobility of 163 countries. It should be noted that a rank groups all the countries with the same mobility score.
