This macabre discovery was made during an inspection, in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, around 3:30 am, in a bus providing the Morocco-France link, via Spain, upon its arrival for a stopover in the Hérault region, in the Près-d’Arènes district of Montpellier. The bus was then to continue to Paris.
Alerted, the firefighters and a nurse from the Sdis 34, as well as the public security police from the central police station, went to the scene. An autopsy was ordered.
Upon their arrival in France, all the bus passengers underwent coronavirus Covid-19 screening tests, which proved negative.
