Moroccan Travelers Stranded as Morocco Suspends Air Links with France Amid COVID-19 Fears

The decision of the Moroccan government to suspend all air and sea links between Morocco and France, in order to curb the Coronavirus epidemic, took the nationals of the two countries by surprise.
A chaotic situation currently prevails in French airports, due to the cancellation of flights to Morocco. Dozens of Moroccan passengers are unsure of their fate.
As a sign of protest, Moroccan travelers at Paris-Orly airport were singing the Moroccan national anthem at the top of their lungs, waving their passports and launching a heartfelt cry to the Moroccan authorities.
On the other side of the Mediterranean, thousands of French tourists remained stranded in Moroccan airports, both in Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier and Fez, frustrated at not being able to return to their country.
