Moroccan Party Elects Fatima Zahra El Mansouri as National Council President

Fatima Zahra El Mansouri was unanimously elected president of the National Council of the Party of Authenticity and Modernity (PAM), during the 4th Congress of the party’s formation, this Sunday.
The new president has put herself forward as a candidate, following "the insistence of many activists". The former mayor of Marrakech was appointed, after the withdrawal of the other candidates, Hayat Boufrachen, Lahcen Bouhouch and Karim Laraki.
At 44 years old, the lawyer by training and "pure product of the PAM", already arouses admiration among the young, or jealousy, especially among experienced politicians.
The 4th national congress of the PAM started on February 7 and continued until this Sunday, February 9, in El Jadida.
