Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Meets New PAM Party Leader Abdellatif Ouahbi

King Mohammed VI received, at his request, Abdellatif Ouahbi on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at the Royal Palace in Casablanca. This meeting follows the election of this political leader to the position of Secretary General of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM).
According to a press release from the Royal Cabinet, published by the MAP, the audience granted by King Mohammed VI to Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi comes at the request of the latter, following his election to the position of Secretary General of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM).
Abdellatif Ouahbi was unanimously elected by the members of the PAM National Council as Secretary General of this party on February 9, 2020, in El Jadida.
Ouahbi was the overwhelming favorite for this election, following the withdrawal of Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah, former Minister of Health, and a major figure in the party.
Furthermore, the PAM renewed its confidence in Fatima-Zahra El Mansouri, by reappointing her as head of the National Council for the next five years.
