New PAM Leader Calls for Unity, Pledges to Seek Release of Hirak Rif Detainees

The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) has just elected its new secretary general, following its 4th congress. He is Abdellatif Ouahbi, who also invited the members of his party, in his closing speech of the congress, to "turn the page on differences" and "overcome them".

It was a unifying speech that the new secretary general of the PAM delivered. After saluting the former secretaries general, he called on the different components of the party to cooperate with him for the good of their political formation.

Abdellatif Ouahbi intends to take significant steps. He even declared, in his speech, that his ambition is to "make a political breakthrough in the country. A breakthrough that begins with the release of detainees, starting with those of the Hirak Rif". He assured the party’s openness to all political components. "I extend my hand to everyone; it’s to be or not to be," he stressed.

The new secretary general of the PAM came with the certainty of winning new electoral victories. This, in a credible way, in compliance with the laws and texts governing elections. "Internal democracy is the door that will allow the party to win elections," he hammered.
