Moroccan Officer Promoted After Assault by Extremist During Lockdown Duty

A police officer was promoted to the rank of sergeant after being physically assaulted and seriously injured by an individual imbued with extremist ideas, in the exercise of his duties during this period of confinement. This is what the Director General of National Security decided.
In addition to this promotion, the injured policeman benefits from a financial reward and a certificate of recognition for his immense sacrifices and his high sense of professionalism, indicates the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a press release. Similarly, the DGSN has decided to cover all the costs and expenses of his medical care, hospitalization and health assistance.
The Director General of the DGSN also decided to pay a financial reward to his colleague, a police inspector, while awarding him a message of congratulations, in recognition of his high professionalism which facilitated the arrest of the suspect involved in the attempted premeditated murder of which the injured policeman was a victim, specifies the same source.
These administrative decisions of motivation are part of the solicitude with which the DGSN surrounds its officials who have always shown selflessness and great sacrifices in order to preserve national security and ensure the safety of citizens, concludes the press release.
