Moroccan Mother of Three Killed in Domestic Violence Case Shocks Spanish Town

Ouardia, a 43-year-old Moroccan woman, was killed on Monday by her 38-year-old husband, who then turned himself in to the Civil Guard to confess his crime. The news of her death has caused emotion in Spain, as the victim left behind three minor children aged 5, 4 and 2 years old.
"The lives of three children have changed in a second, they find themselves without a mother’s love... We will always carry you in our hearts. We cry with sadness, helplessness and injustice," the Gloria Fuertes nursery and primary school in Tarancón (Cuenca) said in a statement published on its social networks, expressing the "consternation" of the entire educational community after the sexist murder of Ouardia.

The city of Tarancón woke up on Monday with the news of the death of the Moroccan woman who was murdered by her husband, a 38-year-old man, also of Moroccan origin, who turned himself in to the Civil Guard after his crime. The couple’s three children, aged 5, 4 and 2 years old, have been taken care of by social services.
