Moroccan MMA Fighter Overwhelmed by Senegalese Challenger in Dakar Debut

In Dakar, the Moroccan boxer Sofiane Boukichou very early on bowed to his less experienced Senegalese opponent during the first ARES Fighting evening organized on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
At the start of the competition, the Moroccan was taken aback by the repeated attacks of his Senegalese challenger, who was in a position of strength. In front of his cheering audience, Oumar Kane, alias Reug Reug, relentlessly attacked Sofiane Boukichou, who has 6 fights to his credit, including 3 losses.
Sent back to the ropes from time to time, the Moroccan had a hard time defending himself. The streams of uppercuts raining down on his face did not allow him to get rid of this assault by the former Senegalese wrestler.
Very little accustomed to this discipline, Reug Reug drew on wrestling techniques to make his opponent give in. At the end of the first round, the Moroccan was already finished. His ordeal in the second round was only short-lived. Oumar Kane, eager to knock him down, overcame Soufiane "El Torro" Boukichou after a few minutes of fighting in this round.
