Moroccan Fighters Dominate International Muay Thai Tournament

Moroccan champions have won several distinctions at the "International Diamond fight". This competition was organized on Saturday by the Buxosport International Foundation, under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Savate and Related Sports.
This Muay Thai competition allowed Moroccan champion Soufiane Taaouati and his compatriot Brahim Saylan to win respectively over their challengers, Italian champion Zahe Christian (-70 kg) and multiple Algerian champion Guelass Brash (-70 kg).
The Moroccans also stood out in the under 57 kg category with Moroccan Othmane Ghouni, who beat Hamza Mardi, a practitioner from the French club Alamos.
Moroccan champions Salaheddine Biryani (-63.5 kg) and Karim Addari (-75 kg) respectively succumbed to junior world champion and French champion Robinet d’Achille and Ivorian Ismaïl Doumbia.
In addition, the Diamond Fight title belt in the 66 kg category was won by French champion Totof, who defeated Finn Tino Venalainen.
Personalities from the national sports world marked their presence at this gala, including the assistant coach of the national football team, Mustapha Hadji, the president of the Buxosport International Foundation, Ali Okni and the president of the professionalism committee, Lahcen Hilali.
