Moroccan Kickboxer Taaouati Clinches TNA Fight Title in Russia Amid Global Sports Shutdowns

In this atmosphere of suspension and cancellation of sporting events, Soufiane Taaouati managed to offer Morocco the title of the TNA Fight kickboxing competition in the 70 kg category. On Sunday, he faced the Russian, Ergali Urbulatov, in Kazan, Russia.
The TNA Fight kickboxing is one of the most prestigious competitions in the discipline. "The Moroccan won the title after an extra round," says a statement from the Royal Moroccan Federation of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Savate and Related Sports. The competition was held behind closed doors due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
With the same Moroccan coach, Mohamed Taleî, Taaouati has won the Moroccan championship several times, in addition to the Arab and African Championship titles.
