Moroccan 8-Year-Old Wins Virtual Arab Kick-Boxing Championship

Moroccan Maria Oudghiri won, on Wednesday, June 3, the title of the virtual Arab Shadow Kick-Boxing Championship in the Poucets (7 and 8 years old) category. A competition organized by the Arab Union of Kick-Boxing.
With a total of 44.5 points, she takes first place, thus overtaking her compatriot Rayan Betroune. The Syrian Mohamed Noor Mashouh and the Jordanian Soultan Nabil El Manasir finish third ex aequo with a score of 43.5 points.
In total, 260 kick-boxers representing 12 Arab countries participated in this competition. In all, 112 kick-boxers qualified for the second round. Among them, 23 Moroccans.
The evaluation criteria for the athletes are: technique, speed, and execution rhythm. The organizer of this competition, the Arab Union of Kick-Boxing, encourages kick-boxers to continue their training at home in these times of covid-19.
