Moroccan Kickboxers Make Strong Showing at World Championships in Sarajevo

Moroccan kickboxers are strongly represented at the world championships taking place in Sarajevo until October 28, according to a statement from the Royal Moroccan Federation of Kickboxing-Muay Thai-Savate and related sports.
For this edition, Morocco is well represented by both women and men. In the women’s category, Hajar Moulki (-48 kg), Chaimae Belkasmi (-56 kg) and Saïda Lahmidi (-70 kg) are the flag bearers, while Oualid Sanoussi (-51 kg), Anas Hibaoui (-60 kg), Hamza Rachid (-63.5 kg), Saâd el Kabisi (-71 kg), Soufiane Merzak (-75 kg) and Othman Fakaki (-91 kg) are defending the national colors in the men’s events.
It should be noted that the technical director and president of the national delegation Lahcen Ouassou, the coach Jawad Khoya as well as the international referee Ahmed Chikh Bara also made the trip with the athletes.
