Former Kickboxing Champion Appeals to Morocco’s King for Support of Expatriate Athletes

Mustapha Lakhsem, former world champion in full-contact and kickboxing, is asking King Mohammed VI to help former Moroccan champions living abroad and practicing kickboxing.
It is through the publication of a video on his Facebook page that Mustapha Lakhsem addressed a message to King Mohammed VI. In this video, he accuses the president of the Royal Moroccan Taekwondo Federation (FRMT), Driss Hilali, of "favoritism".
According to the athlete, many Moroccan champions living abroad and practicing kickboxing, full-contact or taekwondo do not receive any support from the Moroccan federations. Meanwhile, members of the Hilali family have held positions of responsibility within these federations for several years and have benefited from many advantages, it is reported.
Faced with this unsavory situation, Mustapha Lakhsem pleads for direct intervention by the King of Morocco.
