Moroccan Military Denies Mobilization Near Algerian Border Amid Controversy

The maneuvers of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in the Oriental region are the subject of a major controversy. Some even see a mobilization against Algeria.
The FAR have recently moved to the Oriental region, mobilizing several heavy weapons and artillery groups near the Algerian border.
Reacting to this untruth, the FAR-Maroc page on Facebook, very much aware of current events, has tried to deny this information and provide more details on the subject.
For this page, the FAR indicated that there was indeed a move to the Oriental region, recently. However, it maintains that no heavy weapons or artillery have been mobilized, contrary to the allegations in the press.
In addition, it adds that the FAR will simply proceed with training as part of a routine exercise program in the Guercif area. These military maneuvers aim to improve the combat readiness of the units of the Royal Armed Forces, and to develop their field work capacity.
