Moroccan Migrants Allegedly Tortured and Held Hostage in Ivory Coast, Photos Spark Outrage

Photos of Moroccan migrants held hostage in inhumane conditions in Ivory Coast have been circulating on social media.
In the photos posted online, we see young naked or half-naked Moroccans. They would have been victims of violence from the local police.
The young people would have been stripped and chained in inhuman conditions. To this end, Internet users have launched a petition calling on the Moroccan authorities to intervene in order to put an end to these acts, which they describe as barbaric.
Internet users did not fail to denounce the detention conditions of Moroccan migrants, especially since sub-Saharan nationals are better treated, according to them, in Morocco.
