Moroccan Merchant Disrupts Funeral, Demands Repayment of Debt

A merchant appeared at a funeral and opposed the burial of the deceased. The reason was simple: the deceased owed him 140,000 dirhams that he had not been able to pay before his death.
The matter is rather serious, according to witnesses to the scene, who said the merchant insisted that the amount owed to him be repaid before the body was buried.
Had it not been for the promptness of the family’s friends who pleaded for the discussions to be held between the creditor and the heirs, the merchant, according to Barlamane.com, would not have listened to reason.
