Moroccan Man Gets 10 Years for Fatal Assault on Neighbor After Infidelity Revelation

Unlike the people we see sitting in the dock, the 31-year-old man had only one sentence on his lips: "I didn’t kill him." However, according to his statements recorded in the minutes, he admitted that he was in the company of the victim before a misunderstanding came to spoil their evening.

The misunderstanding would have been caused by the confidences made by the victim to the accused, treating him as a cuckold. Unable to bear the news that his wife was cheating on him with a young man, he dealt a violent punch to his companion. A fight broke out between the two and resulted in the victim losing consciousness. The police, alerted by the neighbors, arrested the accused, still present at the crime scene, reports Aujourd’hui le Maroc.

Before the Court, the witnesses were unable to really explain what happened between the two, especially since they knew them to be very close.
