Moroccan Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Mother’s Fatal Window Fall

A man has just been sentenced to 20 years in prison in a case that had initially looked like an accident: the death of his mother, which has finally been revealed to be a murder.
The criminal chamber of the Court of Appeal of Tanger has just, according to Assabah, sentenced a man for having thrown his mother out of the window, thus causing her death. The man is 56 years old. The mother had several injuries and fractures and the rapid arrival of the emergency services did not help save her life. She would have died before arriving at the hospital.
His brother would have testified against him, claiming that the man and his mother were in perpetual conflict and that during this tragedy, he found the murderer at their mother’s house. As for the perpetrator, his defense was based on the fact that it was impossible for him to harm his mother, if only because she still provided for his needs, also arguing that family conflicts are common and normal.
And the Criminal Chamber sided with the brother’s testimony, taking into account the prosecutor’s request to sentence him to a heavy sentence, still according to Assabah. These events date back to last February.
